OUR STORY
Yadira Stanfield-Langton
I emigrated from Mexico as a child and grew up in St.Paul. During my junior year of high school I joined the Army National Guard. I served for 8 years. After a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master Of Arts in Education, I worked on getting my citizenship. It was a memorable day that I'll never forget. I met my husband Dan and he told me he striped parking lots. I didn't even know that was a thing, but it made sense, someone had to paint those lines at every establishment we visited. After 20 years of working for someone else, we decided it was time for us to start our own company doing what Dan does extremely well.

I started painting parking lots in 1999 between my junior and senior years of high school, my brother got me the job. I remember working till 5 am at the old Metrodome downtown before the first day of my senior year of high school. I had a couple other jobs, then went back to work striping full time spring of 2003 and have been doing it ever since. The company I worked for tested equipment for Graco, and helped develop the line generating laser. Graco's equipment and the laser in my opinion have completely changed the parking lot striping industry forever. I am proud to have worked with all those people for so many years. This winter 2018/2019 I have decided to venture out into the pavement marking industry with my wife Yadira. Together we are the proud owners of MN Stripes inc.
